Abstrakt		Impurity profile of the amlodipine benzenesulfonate prepared from trityl-amlodipine was investigated. Knowing the identity and origin of the impurities the technology for the synthesis was optimized affording the active compound of high purity. For this purpose influences on the trans-esterification of amlodipine benzenesulfonate was particularly investigated.
