Abstrakt		Feacal incontinence is temporary or permanent leakage of flatus, mucus or feces. It is not life threatening disease, but the trouble hindering the patient and affecting him emotionally. For the surroundig it is even more disturbing than urinary incontinence. Majority of patients is found in nursery homes or in hospitals. Hidden individuals live isolated or in families. For any therapeutical decision it is necessary that afflicted persons ask for help.
