Abstrakt | Seasonal biorhythmic of serum T3 and T4 was determined by RIA in seven Jezersko-Solchava ewes during pregnancy and postpartum period from December to May. Mean whole day T3 concentration remained unchanged from December to April (1st to 3rd pregnancy month) and decreased in March (4th pregnancy month). Mean whole day T4 concentration decreased from December to March (1st to 4th pregnancy month). The concentration of both hormones increased in April and May. In the investigated ewes the influence of pregnancy can not be distinguished from the influences of environment. The increase of both hormones in April and May is presumably the result of greater heat loss after shearing. | |
Izvleček | Pri sedmih ovcah jezersko-solčavske pasme smo z metodo RIA v krvnem serumu ugotavljali sezonsko bioritmiko T3 in T4 med brejostjo in v poporodnem obdobju, v času od decembra do maja. Povprečna celodnevna vsebnost T3 se od decembra do aprila (1. do 3. mesec brejosti) ni spreminjala, nato pa je marca (4. mesec brejosti) upadla. Povprečna celodnevna vsebnost T4 pa je od decembra do marca (1. do 4. mesec brejosti) upadala. Vsebnost obeh hormonov je aprila in maja narasla. Pri preiskovanih ovcah vpliva brejosti in vplivov okolja ne moremo razlikovati. Dvig vsebnosti T3 in T4 v aprilu in maju pa je verjetno posledica večjih izgub toplote po striženju. | |
