Abstrakt		A case of infarction of the left colon following attempted alcohol ablation of left renal tumor is presented. Reflux from the renal arteries or even wrong identification of arterial tree and subsequent flow of substantial amount of incompletely diluted or concentrated ethanol into inferior mesenteric artery may have been the cause of this complications. The surgical tactics following necrosis of the left colon is discussed.
