Abstrakt		The World Health Organisation research predicts an increase in the incidence of mental disorders throughout the world. As a result there will be a corresponding increase in demand for effective and financially acceptable methods of treatment that can be made widely accessible. The purpose of this paper is to show that Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is able to meet this challenge.
Izvleček		Raziskave svetovne zdravstvene organizacije predvidevajo porast števila duševnih motenj po svetu. S tem se bo tudi povečala potreba po učinkovitem, finančno sprejemljivem in dostopnem načinu zdravljenja teh motenj. Namen tega članka je pokazati, da se je kognitivno-vedenjska terapija sposobna srečati s tem izidom.
