Abstrakt		There is a rather stable number of students at all levels of education for health professionals. This is particularly true for the Medical Faculty, the Faculty of Pharmacy and the two High Schools of Nursing. In secondary educatio, there has been a continued rise in the number of pupils, which increased by 3.5% from 1998 to 1999. Most of the increase is due to increases in enrolment two fields, namely 'auxiliary' and pharmacy technician'.
Izvleček		Pri številu šolajočih se za zdravstvene poklice se nadaljuje precej ustaljeno stanje, pri katerem je število študentov in dijakov ter diplomantov vseh stopenj izobraževanja precej nespremenjeno. To velja v prvi vrsti za Medicinsko fakulteto, Fakulteto za farmacijo in obe Visoki šoli za zdravstvo. Pri srednješolskem izobraževanju pa ugotavljamo še vedno naraščanje števila dijakov, ki se je v letu 1999 povečalo za približno 3,5 odstotka glede na leto 1998. Večina povečanja gre na račun večjega števiia vpisanih na smer bolničar in farmacevtski tehnik.
