Abstrakt		In our water ecosystems, too, there are plants that could be called weeds if they are considered bothersome or even harmful. The very name duckweed tells us that we are dealing with such a one. Yet the plant itself is beautiful, its light green shoots covering the bottom of shallows pleasing to the eye and life-giving-particularly to ducks.
