Abstrakt | The most frequent cause of sudden death in adults is maligned rhythm disorder and the only right and effective therapy is early defibrillation. We present the case of an intervention of the pre-hospital unit at home of a 49 years old male who felt painful pressure in the chest. After the initial therapy (Nitrolingual spray and Aspirin direct) the pain almost disappeared. Afterwards, during the iv. cannula insertion, a ventricular fibrillation appeared on the monitor, after short ventricular tachycardia. The sinus rhythm was restored after the third defibrillation, the pulse could be then felt again and the patient began to breathe normally. He regained consciousness in a few seconds but started complaining of hard chest pains. | |
