Abstrakt		Accordind to the data of the Slovenian police for the year 1999, aout of 1448 cases where a suspicion was established that the person involved in road traffic was under the influence of drugs or psychoactive medical products, as many as 974 refused co-operation. In 474 cases a professional examination and toxicological research were ordered and performed. n analysis of data showed typical characteristics of potential offenders against road traffic rules and persons involved in road accidents caused by the influence of drugs or psychoactive medical products.
