Abstrakt		The mental and physical capabilities of drivers of motor vehicles in road traffic are today often seriously challenged. They not only have to be able to concentrate on driving, predict connections between various phenomena, take appropriate judgements in current situations, foresee the sequence of measures to be taken, but are also supposed to be emotionally stable etc. The problem of drugs in traffic is often encountered in connection with assessing the actual capability of a person for safe driving in a given moment, such as in the moment of a car accident or police check ..., as well as during health check-ups, required when applying for a driving licence. The Law on road traffic safety regards methadone as a drug. People who are drug addicts do not meet the health standards required of drivers of motor vehicles. (Abstract truncated at 2000 characters)
