Abstrakt     Two hundred and seventeen natural IVF/ET cycles for female infertility were evaluated. Positive puncture rate was 87%. There were 129 ETs: 68% of 188 natural cycles with oocytes retrieved. The live birth rate was 23% per ET. There were no statistical differences between pregnancy rates per ET between higher (0.60-1.17 nmol) and lower (0.40-0.59 nmol/l) E2 concentrations on the day of HCG (30% vs. 23%), between early (10-14) and late (16-21) aspiration day (25% vs. 33%), between smaller (16-18 mm) and bigger (19-22 mm) follicular diameters on the day of HCG (24% vs 31%), between 28 ETs on 2nd and 101 ETs on 4th day after oocyte retrieval (18% vs. 31%), but there was a signifiacnt difference (p<0.05) between cycles with thin (6-8 mm) of HCG compared to those reported in the literature, and good results despite previously unsuccessfully attempted stimulated IVF/ET cycles encourage broader acceptance of IVF/ET in the natural cycle. It is probable that the advanced endometrial preparation favourably influenced the results of embryo transfers on day 4 after oocyte retrieval in this series of patients.
