Abstrakt     Human neocortex is anatomically divided into two hemispheres, connected by a range of commissural fibers among which corpus callosum is by far the largest. A large body of research shows that significant functional differences exist between the hemispheres, while corpus callosum plays a crucial role in integrating the functions of the hemispheres. Preliminary research results of a case study of B.B., 33 year-old man with agenesis of the corpus callosum accompanied with epilepsy and intracerebral lipoma, are presented. Results of a classic neuropsychologic test battery show a range of mild to severe cognitive impairments, while experimental tasks requiring crosslateral integration show well preserved ability for interhemispheric integration. Among experimental tasks only mental rotation showed critical impairment.
