Abstrakt     One of the defects that obstructs a more effective reaction of chemotherapeutic drugs on tumor cells is their poor and slow transfer through the cell membrane of tumor cells in vitro and in vivo. The tumor cells were electroporated reversely with the application of short highvoltage electric pulses (electroporation). The molecules of the chernotherapeutic drugs can enter the tumor cells through the pores in the membrane. Cisplatin is the most often used chemotherapeutic drug with cytotoxic and radiosensitising effect. Cisplatin changes the structure of DNA molecule in the cell by crossbinding to the DNA molecule and chromosomal proteins. Its use in clinical practice is limited due to its slow efflux through the cell membrane, the resistance of certain tumor cells to cisplatin and its binding to specific proteins in the tissue (the liver, kidney, brain). Electroporation increases the tumor cell uptake of cisplatin as well as its effect on the tumor cells. In this Master's Thesis, we examined whether the electroporation with cisplatin increases the effect of irradiation on the two mouse tumor models, i. e. LPB fibrosarcoma tumor cells and Ehrlich ascites carcinoma (EAT) in vivo. (Abstract truncated at 2000 characters).
