Abstrakt     The risk of preterm labour and its probable association with different grades of uterine anomalies: groups 5 and 6 according to AFS - before and after hysteroscopic resection of uterine septa by resectoscope was evaluated. Methods: By inquiry data of 486 women after hysteroscopic resection of uterine septum and by using National perinatal information system data (NPIS). Results: 1.) Preterm labour decreased from 56% to 8% after the resection of AFS6 septa (P<0,0001) and from 47% to 12% after the resection of AFS5 septa (P<0,002). 2.) NPIS data showed a decrease of preterm labour from 47.8% to 4% in 75 women (54%) after resection of AFS6 septum (P<0,0001) and from 40% to 11.8% in 101 women after resection for AFS5 septum (P<0,0001). The need for neonatal intensive care decreased from 27% before to 5% after (P>0,01).
