| Abstrakt | The selection of the optimal composition of extended release tablets is described. The most important parameter for the quality of extended release tablets is the disolution profile that can be adjusted by ingredients - components of tablets. On the basis of preliminary experiments five key components were selected. Forthermore, fifteen experiments were carried out to adjust the ratio of components giving the tablets with specified disolution profile. The disolution profile for different wmpositions of tablets is predicted by the linear regresion models. The effects of particle size and the distribution of particles of the active substance on the disolution profile was also determined, but it is small in comparison with the effects of selected components. | |
