Abstrakt		Prolonged ischemia is always a reason for acute coronary syndrome. Plaque rupture, vasospasm and thrombosis are usually present in the case of obstruction of coronary artery lumen. Early recanalisation is the final goal of all medical procedures. Mechanical recanalisation - percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty ( PTCA ) with stent implantation seems to be the best choice. Antithrombotic agents and the agent with neointimal hyperplasia blocking properties should be routinely used.
