Abstrakt		Cat-scratch disease is one of the most common causes of long-term regional lymphadenitis in children and adolescents. With the many diagnostic tools now available to detect infection caused by Bartonella henselae, the scope of clinical disease associated with this organism is ever increasing. It is obvious that atypical presentations of the disease are more likely than previously suspected. Five children with different clinical features, typical and atypical forms of cat-scratch disease and different treatments are reported. The present knowledge of the etiology, clinical features, epidemiology, diagnosis and management of cat-scratch disease is presented.
Izvleček		Bolezen mačje praske je eden izmed najpogostejših vzrokov dolgotrajnega povečanja področnih bezgavk pri otrocih in mladostnikih. Z novimi diagnostičnimi metodami za odkrivanje okužb, povzročenih z bakterijo Bartonella henselae, se spekter bolezenskih slik, ki jih povzroča, vse bolj širi. V zadnjem času so vse pogosteje odkrite tudi tiste oblike bolezni, ki ne potekajo z značilno bolezensko sliko. Predstavljamo pet otrok z različnimi bolezenskimi znaki, značilne ali neznačilne oblike bolezni mačje praske in razlike v njihovem zdravljenju. Predstavljena so tudi novejša spoznanja o etiologiji, bolezenskih znakih, epidemiologiji, diagnostiki in zdravljenju bolezni mačje praske.
