Abstrakt		Mental distress of children and adolescents often shows in a headache. Such children and adolescents see a child psychiatrist rather late, usually when all somatic examinations are negative. This article discusses groups of children and adolescents which are at higher risk of developing mental disorders, where the inclusion of a child psychiatrist in differential diagnostic is appropriate at an earlier stage. Mental disorders that are often hidden behind the headache are also discussed. These are above all depression and anxiety disorder and in some cases, but more more rarely, psychosis. These disorders should be treated by a child psychiatrist.
Izvleček		Duševna stiska otrok in mladostnikov se pogosto izrazi tudi z glavobolom. V obravnavo k pedopsihiatru pridejo ti otroci in mladostniki sorazmerno pozno, ponavadi šele, ko je s preiskavami izključen somatski vzrok glavobola. Prispevek obravnava skupine otrok in mladostnikov s tveganjem za razvoj duševnih motenj, pri katerih je smiselna hitrejša vključitev pedopsihiatra v diferencialno diagnostično obravnavo. Obravnavane so duševne motnje, ki so pogosteje v ozadju glavobola. To so predvsem depresivna ter anksiozna motnja, nekoliko redkeje pa psihoza. Zdravljenje teh motenj sodi k pedopsihiatru.
