Abstrakt		The aim of the article is to describe sampling procedures and sample of the research Nurses in Slovenia and to evaluate sample's representativeness. The sample consists of 20% of achievable population who are members of the Nurses Organisations / Nurses Association of Slovenia. 2450 questionnaires were sent out and 1067 got returned. Sample realisation was 43,6%. Sample was simple random sample. The sample characteristics were compared to the few known facts of Slovenian nurses population, it is estimated that the sample is representative and can be generalised to the population of Slovenian nurses.
