Abstrakt		It is impossible to avoid numerous dilemmas, difficulties and problems in whichever survey. As they are more or less similar irrespective of a survey and they could be repeatable, it is of great importance to preserve experiences and learned knowledge from the present for the future. In 2001 in Slovenia started a survey on health related behaviour "Risk factors for noncommunicable diseases in adults in Slovenia". Present thesis represents a record and evatuation of experiences, problems and dilemmas during the designing phase and pianning phase af this sunrey.
