| Abstrakt | Using a recent remarkable result of Turovskii we prove the following extension of the famous Ando-Krieger theorem to multiplicative semigroups of operators. Let E be a Dedekind complete Banach lattice of dimension at least two, and let S be a multiplicative semigroup of quasinilpotent positive abstract kernel operators on E. Then S has a non-trivial invariant closed ideal. | |
