Abstrakt     European Union recommends to the Member States a European Schedule of occupational diseases which was published in directive 90l 326lEEC, Annex I and Annex II. The Member States decide which are the diagnoses they will recognize as occupational and which are the criteria to recognize each occupational diagnose. Occupational disease is not a clinical category, but legal one: Exposure at work plays a crucial role in the process of verification of occupational disease. Occupational diagnosis gives worker the right for compensation and leads to "job therapy".
