Abstrakt     Purpose: presentation of problems, which occur during everyday CT angiography processing and solutions, which proved useful in our institution using available equipment. Methods: CT angiography of cerebral vessels is done according to standard protocol, always followed by 3D processing. There are two different possibilities - on Toshiba or Voxar system - so the comparison between different CT data applications can be made. Results: having done more than 300 CT angiography of cerebral vessels, the main problem was how to present pathology in "surgeon view", that means how to simulate operation approach. We're limited with resolution of CT scanner, which in some cases cannot precisely determine anatomic relations. With performing CT on very handicapped patients the main problem was the quality of CT examination (contrast, flow, patient condition ...). 3D processing can also leads us to some wrong conclusions (problem of tissue classification, presentation of vascular disease - aneurysm - near bones, type of projections ...). Taking into consideration all the mentioned perspectives, we can define sequence of procedures which reduce these problems to the lowest level and can sufficiently replace DSA.
