| Abstrakt | The article introduces the new way of curing uterine myoms, which has been already established as an alternative to classic i.e. surgical procedures in some foreign countries. Besides brief classification of myoms, the author states the review of possible therapeutic procedures. Among them the interventional radiology with EAU (Embolisation of Uterine Artery) by carefully selected patients is being described. In the conclusion author com- pares his work with the results of comparable researches published in professional magazines. | |
| Izvleček | Predstavljen je nov način zdravljenja miomov maternice, ki se je ponekod v tujini že uveljavil kot alternativa klasičnemu kirurškemu zdravljenju. Poleg kratke razdelitve miomov je podan pregled možnih terapevtskih posegov. Predstavljene so možnosti interventne radiologije z EAU (embolizacijo arterije uterine) pri skrbno izbranih bolnicah. Na koncu primerjamo naše delo z rezultati podobnih raziskav objavljenih v strokovnih revijah. | |
