Abstrakt		A review of indications for electrodiagnostic investigations, and possibilities to answer clinical questions in domain of peripheral neurology in general practice is presented. For physiatrist speciality the surface electromyography (EMG) for a diagnosis and a treatment of dysponesis, muscular imbalance which causes a muscular pain is characteristics. Classical electrodiagnosis of contractile reactivity of denervated muscles on electrical stimulation (I/T curve) is described as well. Symptoms, electrodiagnostic possibilities and treatment algorithm of cervical and lumbar radiculopathies and compression/constriction neuropathies of median, ulnar, radial, femoral and ischiadic nerves are presented.
