Abstrakt     Certain avian pathogens, including Mycoplasma gallisepticum (MG), M. synoviae (MS) and Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale (ORT) can be transmitted via the eggs. Specific maternal antibodies appearing in the egg yollc and egg white are able to protect embryo against a variety of vertically transmitted bacterial and viral pathogens. Immunoenzyme tests using different monoclonal antibodies (mAb) to chicken immunoglobulins G (IgG), IgA and IgM were used for the detection of antibodies to MG, MS, ORT and Newcastle disease virus (NDV) in the allantoic fluid (ALF); amniotic fluid (AMF), bile, serum and egg yolk of chicken embryos on different stages of the embryonic development. In ALF of 7 days old embryos IgG antibodies to MS were demonstrated for the first time. Certain samples contained also IgG antibodies to MG and NDV. In addition, IgA, IgM and secretory component (SC) were also found in the ALF. It seems that transfer of immunoglobulins from the egg white to ALF is selective. In AMF specific IgG antibodies to MS were detected on day 7 of embrionic development. From 12th day of the embryogenesis onward levels of IgA, IgG, IgM and ovalbumin were apparently increased. In the chicken embryo blood which was taken from the chorioallantoic veins from 13th to 16th day of the embryogenesis IgG, IgA and SC were found. Specific antibodies were transferred also to the bile of the chicken embryo where IgA and IgG to MS and ORT were detected in 13 days old embryos.
