Abstrakt		Complementary and alternative methods are entering our professional space wanting it or not. The responsibility of health care providers towards patients demands to find related solutions which would be satisfying for both. The article shortly presents ethics, ethical acting and the importance of ethical principles. The author widely discusses basic ethical principles in relation to complementary and alternative methods of curing and trealment. The responsibility of nurses and nursing profession in preparing strategies about implementation of these methods in nursing practice is also stressed.
