Abstrakt		ZUIM Kamnik is the institution for training nand teaching children and adolescents with special needs that are following regular program of elementary and secondary school. The number of children with combined disturbance has increased in recent years. Beside motor handicap very common disturbances occurred, are also perception, cognition, social and emotional components, speech and communication. This comprehensive handicap of a child or adolescent, influences the individual's quality of life. Such an individual needs intensive team rehabilitation with technical equipment and adjustments. The article presents the importance of being acquainted with causes and characteristics of motor handicap and other associated disturbance of a child, the technical equipment and aid that children use for communication.
