Abstrakt		The detection of cytogenetic and molecular alterations in blood malignancies opened a new era in the understanding of disease pathogenesis and was at the same time a provocation for the search of drugs, which would selectively block malignant cell differentiation and accelerate their apoptosis. In the nineties of past century, the first selective drugs for the treatment of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia and chronic myelogenous leukemia appeared. In our paper the first three drugs are described.
