Abstrakt		As the etiology of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) has not been clarified, no actual causal approaches exist. treatment should improve symptoms and induce remission. The current treatment for IBD is the use of 5-aminosalicylates (5-ASAs), glucocorticoids, immunosuppressive drugs, antibiotics and anti-TNF antibodies.
