Abstrakt		The article contains data on the effects of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) on blood pressure and heart failure. The action complexity of NSAIDs is emphasized. Low doses of aspirin have no significant effect on high blood pressure and heart failure therapy. The clinical significance of prothrombotic effects of selective COX-2 inhibitors is not yet confirmed. When prescribing these drugs it is important to evaluate the indicators and to decide between their cardioprotective and gastroprotective effects.
