Abstrakt		The incidence of nephrotoxicity secondary to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs is low, but because of the growing use of these agents, nephrotoxicity will be seen more commonly. The authors presents several forms of nephrotoxicity and groups of patients who are at greater risk for this side effect of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. A possible association between newer selective nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and nephrotoxicity is presented.
