Abstrakt		Introduction: Because of its specific structure, the hyaline articular cartilage has a limited capacity for intristic repair. Due to this fact even at minor injuries, degeneration of articular surface can occur, possibly leading to arthrosis. Subject: In this article we present autologous chondrocyte transplantation and post-op physiotherapy process. In the first part we focus on the method itself. Second part covers systematic physiotherapy process after the treatment of femoral condil. Conclusion: Autologous chondrocyte transplantation is very successful, but expensive operation. If knee joint is properly indicated, it is classified as a cost effective operation.
