Abstrakt		Sepsis with multiple organ failure (MOF) is leading couse of death in intensive care units. Mortality rate rises with the number of organ failures and age is an important prognostic factor. Early diagnosis and treatment are still a corne stone to prevent developement of multiple organe failure and death. Advances in our undersfanding of imunopatogenesis of sepsis may create the new strategy in therapeutical aproach. Mechanisms of organ failure and death in patients with sepsis remain unknown.
