Abstrakt     In the rehabilitation of patients with shoulder diseases and injuries, the assessment is mainly performed at the impairment level (pain, range of motion, muscular power). However, there has been an increasing need for the assessment at the disability level (limitations in daily activities). There is a broad range of cummulative scoring systems used in which the final score sums the scores of four categories: pain, range of active motion, muscular power and fuctional score (disability). The most widely used are Constant Score and UCLA Score. Psychometric characteristics have not been thoroughly estabilished for most score systems and their interrater reliability is poor, so the rehabilitation results are biased on the selection of a scoring system. The participation level and the quality of life level are the most difficult to define and measure. There is no general outcome score for shoulder impairment. In Slovenia, the scores are used orily for researche purposes and not in daily clinical practice.
