Abstrakt     Endotracheal intubation is a very common medically therapeutic method in urgent medicine. When providing medical care for the intubated patient, it is very important that one is attentive to the proper pressure in the cuff of the endotracheal tube. The ET cuff has a task of filling up the space between trachea and the outside wall of the tube. It enables positive ventilation pressure. The pressure in the cuff can be measured in different ways: by using manometer with analogue scale, by listening the stream of air between trachea and ET cuff in the last third of an inhale and by touching the pilot balloon on the inflation joining piece.
