Abstrakt		Sudden severe chest pain usually represents a life-threathening condition. Differential diagnosis includes acute coronary syndrom, aortic dissection type A, massive pulmonary trombembolism and tension pneumotorax. Severe pain is ussually associated with other symptoms such as dispnoe and general fatigue. A physician on the field must keep in mind that patient may be in life-threathening condition. This requieres urgent transportation to the hospital for definite diagnosis and treatment.
Izvleček		Nenadna huda prsna bolečina največkrat pomeni stanje, ki lahko neposredno ogroža življenje. V diferencialni diagnozi pride v poštev akutni koronarni sindrom, disekatna anevrizma aorte tip A, obsežna pljučna trombembolija in tenzijski pnevmotoraks. Bolečini so pogosto pridruženi tudi drugi simptomi, kot sta težko dihanje in splošna slabost. Zdravnik na terenu mora ob hudi prsni bolečini posumiti na življenje ogrožujoče stanje in bolnika nujno prepeljati v bolnišnico.
