Abstract		Therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) can provide a valuable objective feedback to guide clinicians in achieving optimal drug therapy with widely used therapeutic agents. Serum drug level information is most helpful when the drug in question demands individualised dosing, and when the drug efficasy is difficult to evaluate clinicaly. Statistical data on frequency of TDM in Slovenia for year 1990 are presented.
