Abstract		The term "memory" refers to the encoding, storage and retrival of information. Amnesia is a defficit of one or more of these processes. During the evolution several memory systems evolved in the brain, distinguished on the basis of the material they are concerned with, the time frame over which they operate, and the neural structures which support them. Memory impairment can be permanent or temporary. This article is dealing with the transient memory impainnents.
