Abstract		The organized production of compost and biogas has been quantitatively limited in Slovenia. Composting and biogas production are in EC countries widened procedures in organic wastes disposal. The control over production and quality of products is partial settled in Slovenia, for this reason the caution by using these products is very important. Compost and the rest of the biological mass after anaerobic digestion are products, which could be carriers of many pathogenic microorganisms. Highly increase of the compost production is expected in the next few years in Slovenia, because of the admission and of new legislation in the field of wastes and the lack of proper dumping areas.
