Abstract		The aim of this study was an evaluation of the impact of long-term past occupational exposure to elemental mercury vapour (Hg°) on personality traits of ex-mercury miners. The study groups included 53 ex-mercury miners and 53 age matched controls. We used machine learning methods to relate personality traits (such as depression, positive and negative self-concept, and satisfaction) to a number of indicators of mercury exposure.
