| Abstract | Endoscopic ultrasound has significantly enriched diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in gastroenterology. This imaging method, which has combined endoscopy and sonography, provides detailed images of gastrointestinal wall, its layers and surrounding structures. In the article the author describes the application of this method in different gastric diseases: gastric cancer and lymphoma, infiltrative diseases, submucosal tumors and large gastric folds. | |
