Abstract		Dramatic improvement in the quality of instruments has established endoscopy as the basic method for diagnosing and treating many biliary diseases. Endoscopic ultrasonography provides high resolution ultrasound images of the biliary ducts. It is an accurate and safe method for the diagnosis of many biliary diseases.
