Abstract		Slovenia has bilateral conventions of social security and social insurance with 20 European countries. When Slovenia will become member of the EU a new multilateral agreement between the EU and Slovenia will come into effect. Some bilateral agreements with other countries will remain valid. Health insurance institute of Sloverua (HIIS) is developing new application software supporting multilateral agreement in EU and bilateral agreements with non-EU countries. Software solutions will be fully integrated with the central data base of HIIS. Electronic data interchange with member countries of EU will be supported.
