Abstract		Cardiovascular diseases are in 40% cause of illness and mortality of slovene population and are one of leading medical and public charges. To ease this burden the Ministry of Health of Slovenia published changes of instructions for implementation of primary level health care at the end of 2001. In the last two years the data collection was introduced at local level. Together with local solutions the need for central database has arisen. This central database should be secure, reliable and should also offer an inexpensive and easy access to collected and/or analised data for different group of users. In the middle of year 2002 we started to build such central database based on web (internet) technologies. The database should be operative in the next quarter of a year.
