Abstract | The most common sources of dissatisfaction with the existing way of work are its ineffectiveness, often connected with a poor quality of results, inefficiency and inadequate flexibility. Both continuous process improvement and process reengineering are necessary to achieve dramatic improvements in process performance and should have a place in every company. The aim of this paper is to explore the differences and relationships between continuous process improvement and process reengineering. There are also some key considerations when deciding which approach to use. | |
Summary | Neuspešnost, neučinkovitost in slaba prilagodljivost poslovnih procesov so v povezavi s slabo kakovostjo rezultatov najpogostejši razlogi za nezadovoljstvo z obstoječim načinom dela. Pomembne izboljšave v poslovanju vsakega poslovnega sistema je mogoče doseči le z ustrezno kombinacijo stalnega izboljševanja in prenove poslovnih procesov Namen prispevka je proučitev razlik in povezav oziroma odvisnosti med stalnim izboljševanjem in prenovo poslovnih procesov Podano je tudi razmišljanje o ključnih elementih, ki jih je potrebno upoštevati pri izbiri ustreznega pristopa. | |
