Abstract		The article is presenting a short review of principal neurotransmitters and cotransmitters of the enteric nervous system. The review is complemented by presentation of polypeptides, peptides and biogenic amines of enteroendocrine cells with endocrine and paracrine function.
Summary		Članek predstavlja kratek pregled poglavitnih nevrotransmitorjev in kotransmitorjev enteričnega živčnega sistema. Pregledani so tudi endokrino ter parakrino delujoči polipeptidi, peptidi in biogeni amini, ki izvirajo iz enteroendokrinih celic.
