Abstract		Childhood arthritis is a heterogeneous group of conditions that involve persistent inflammation in one or more joints. Imaging plays an important role in the management of arthritis, in the differential diagnosis, monitoring of disease progression and detection of complications. Plain radiographs are the first-line radiological investigation. Due to their limited specifcity, ultrasound of the musculoskeletal system and MR imaging of joints are being increasingly utilized, especially for the detection of early changes.
Summary		Artritisi v otroški dobi zajemajo etiološko heterogeno skupino artritisov, pri katerih vnetje prizadene enega ali več sklepov. Slikovne metode imajo pomembno vlogo v diferencialni diagnostiki artritisov in pri vodenju artritisov, tako pri spremljanju napredovanja bolezni kot pri odkrivanju zapleta. Klasično rentgensko slikanje ostaja pomembna radiološka metoda, katere specifičnost je majhna. Ultrazvočni pregled mišičnega in kostnega sistema in slikanje sklepov z magnetno resonanco sta vse bolj uporabni slikovni metodi. Pomembni sta zlasti pri odkrivanju zgodnjih sprememb.
