Abstract		This year University College of Nursing Studies University of Maribor celebrates 10th anniversary of activity. It started acting in year 1993 as high-school, but in 1995 it was remodelled in University College of Nursing Studies and it is the smallest member of the University of Maribor. The article presents the contents from the professional F.thics and Philosophy of Nursing Care to the students of University College of Nursing Studies University of Maribor. Educational program includes ethics in graduate special study program as well as in all four post-graduate special study programs, Gerontological Nursing Care, Clinical Dietetics, lnformatics and Health System in Nursing Care and Perioperative Nursing Care. Professional ethics is included in all six semesters of special srudy program of Nursing Care. lt starts in first year of study, where students try to apply their acquired theoretical knowledge on practical execution of Nursing intervention in the special classrooms for Nursing training. Afterwards they continue with clinical practise in second year of study, where they are already confronting with ethical problems. ln third year of study they are working on their seminar papers with their acquired theoretical knowledge and practical experiences, which they meet on clinical practise. When the seminar papers are presented we also do the evaluation of knowledge from the field of Ethics and Philosophy in Nursing Care.
