Abstract     The Medical ethic commission has once again considered the proposition of the Gene technology application law, which discusses legal guestions about human genetics; gene and screen testing. lt superimposes the principles of confidence and privacy of medical personal data, particularly in using them for non-medical reasons. An individual decides with an informed consent to undergo gene testing and gene data are not parssed on to a third person without hir knowledge. The medical ethic commission gives attention to necessary additional decrees, especially when gene testing is ordered by a health institution, not by an individual. So the commission suggests some changes for greater security of personal data, for instance when purchasing a health or life insurance and starting a working relation. lt outliner also the necessity to actualise the decrees of the stated law in order to growing development of science and ethics.
